Some unsuspecting skinny jeans-buying shoppers were stunned when they were flash mobbed by a horde in golden Hammer Pants. The crowd ran into the trendy Sunset Boulevard store and began dancing to “U Can’t Touch This,” a hit from the early 90s by rapper M.C. Hammer.
The shoppers were shocked and unsure of what to make of the onslaught, which included man and woman of all ages; check out the old guy with the headband, he is awesome! As suddenly as the show started, it ended and the mod exited as quickly as they entered.
The stunt was part of a campaign for A&E’s upcoming TV show “Hammertime,” which premiers on June 14th.
