Superhero Snakes

This is a collection of animals that just don’t look right--they don’t look like animals at all. From the exceptionally ugly to the freaky such as the super-hero looking green pit viper they are all most unnerving. This last example was only discovered six years ago.

Some of these animals are harmless, except in the looks department, and others are far from. The puss caterpillar for example is the most poisonous caterpillar in the United States.
