Floppy hats and solid neutral colors reign in the Obedient Sons and Daughters Spring 2009 collection. The styles practically scream, “I’m a preppy, goody-two shoes!”

Clothing in the Spring 2009 Obedient Sons and Daughters line is very tame and reserved. Variations of tans, browns, whites, blues, and grays ruled, and few have any ‘spring-time’ colors. In fact, only two pieces have a splash of brightness at all: a man's brown-based, pink rose-laden short suit and a woman’s gray sports suit jacket with a tiny bit of pink and white.

The Obedient Sons and Daughters collection, despite lacking the ‘wow’ factor, are actually quite swanky--in an, “I’m off to the Hamptons this weekend,” type of way.
