Mexican designer Luis Luna has a unique and clever concept of the eco-friendly computer which he has named the O Project.
The O Project is a sustainable computer inspired by oxygen and photosynthesis. The CPU is circular, not boxy, and grows a plant inside. The CPU is built with biodegradable skin that is comprised of polymers from cornstarch and bamboo.
Although the small plant can’t absorb all of the carbon dioxide in its surroundings, its existence serves as a reminder of the importance of thinking green, especially as it pertains to technology. The project is part of a Dell design contest for green computers.
