This series of English bone china plates was inspired by the scenes of the Harrow Ladies Luncheon Club from John Betjemen's film "Metroland" (1970). I adore the sketchbook-like illustrations and comical statements on etiquette at the bottom of each plate.
We all probably experienced our parents and/or grandparents giving us their two cents about proper table manners as kids. These dishes are a funny and adorable reminder of these classic childhood moments. They are also not-so-subtle reminders to keep our mouths closed when we eat!
