Booty Sweat from Tropical Thunder

In Ben Stiller's latest movie, Tropical Thunder, the characters guzzle down Booty Sweat, an energy drink that was fictional when the movie was shot. I say 'was' because now Paramount Pictures wants to market a real energy drink under the brand.

"Not to my knowledge has this ever been done before," says Michael Corcoran, president of consumer products at Paramount Pictures. "We're very excited, because it has the potential to live for quite a while, well beyond the film."

A great idea for additional revenue and easy movie marketing. I know if they had launched a Blue Steel energy drink when Zoolander came out, I would have been tempted to try it...

When the Tropical Thunder movie hits theatres 15 August, I'm sure a lot of the audience will be wired on Booty Sweat!
