A smart vaping device dubbed 'Mode' aims to take the guess work out of cannabis consumption, offering consumers a tech-driven solution to a common smoker's woe. Inhaling cannabis can often be a bit of a guessing game. Different strains produce different highs, and therefore require different amounts. On top of it all, different forms of consumption, and different devices also equal a unique high.
Mode aims to solve this problem through the use of a high pressure sensor and a predictive algorithm. As an end result, the device can determine how big or small of a puff the user is taking, while the algorithm works to determine how many mg of cannabis were in that puff.
The device made its debut at CES 2021.
