Van Cleef & Arpels Expands Its Perlée 2026 Collection

Van Cleef & Arpels grows its Perlée 2026 collection with new rings, ultimately continuing "the aesthetic first introduced by the five-row rings in 2022."

The new Perlée 2026 designs feature golden beads of varying sizes encircling the finger in three rows, with a diagonal line of nine round diamonds set into yellow, white, or rose gold. Other rings incorporate sapphires, emeralds, and rubies into the bead settings. The intricate nail setting merges the diamonds seamlessly with the golden beads in a continuous line, meaning that as the wearer's hand moves, intense reflections shift and sparkle in a way that simpler prong-set stones cannot achieve. The selection of colored stones follows exacting specifications, with sapphires revealing a dense, velvety blue, rubies showcasing saturated red hues, and emeralds displaying vibrant green tones.

Ultra-luxury Minimalism
A pared-back aesthetic paired with exceptional craftsmanship creates demand for high-margin pieces that emphasize form and finish over ornamentation.
Bead-and-line Gemsetting
The continuous bead-and-diagonal-diamond motif generates new possibilities for optical dynamism and novel setting mechanisms that alter how light is manipulated on the finger.
Chromatic Stone Standardization
Precise color grading and strict selection of sapphires, rubies, and emeralds push supply chains and certification processes toward tighter quality controls and traceability.

Industries Being Reshaped

Fine Jewelry Houses
Heritage brands stand to be reshaped by design languages that blend minimalist cues with signature artisanal techniques, redefining flagship collections and brand hierarchies.
Luxury Retail Experiences
High-touch retail environments may evolve to showcase kinetic light-play and tactile discovery moments that highlight the shifting reflections and finishes of premium pieces.
Lab-grown Gemstone Suppliers
Suppliers capable of delivering uniformly saturated colors could disrupt sourcing dynamics by offering consistent, certified alternatives to rare natural stones.
