The new Omega moon watch commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing with a remake of the original Calibre 321 movement system from the Speedmaster ST 105.012. Which was the original watch that was the one worn on the moon during the July 21, 1969, landing.
A lot of research was required to produce the new Omega moon watch, which is a reconstruction of the original movement system. The watch measures in at 42mm and its design has twisted lugs, as well as three subdials that were created using moon material. The design also features a sapphire back display as well as a leather strap that has a platinum buckle.
Omega has not released a price point for the watch.
