The ‘Northwest King Salmon’ shoes are the result of a collaboration between Grammy-winning rapper Macklemore and Nike’s Jordan brand. The shoes are essentially a salmon-colored addition to the Jordan Melo M10 line inspired by NBA star Carmelo Anthony. The shoes’ color and name selection were influenced by Macklemore’s Pacific Northwest background.

Macklemore may have rapped such lyrics as "a hundred dollars for a pair of shoes I would never hop in" and "my movement told me to be a consumer and I consumed it" in the song ‘WINGS,’ but it appears that even he couldn’t resist being given a signature shoe by the venerable Jordan brand.

It’s unclear if these shoes will be made available on a wider scale, when they might be released and how much they will retail for.
