Soda-Inspired Athletic Shoes

Nike Was Inspired by Sprite in the Design of Its New Flyknit

Known for its unique collaborations and designs, Nike is releasing a new Flyknit sneaker that is reminiscent of a classic soda.

The vivid blue shoes were inspired by the popular soda Sprite and looking at them, it is not too difficult to guess that fact. The shoe was designed with three different colors including cobalt blue, neon green and white. The Air Presto Flyknit is meant to look as "fresh" as the taste of Sprite. The new Flyknits are bright but subtle enough that they can be worn every day, regardless of the neon green accents on the shoes. The "breathable" upper area of the shoe makes it easy to wear in the summer.

Nike's interesting collaborations and designs continue to surprise and with its shoes flying off the shelves, the brand has certainly tapped into the right creative market.
