Equestrian-Inspired Bag Designs

Gucci Introduces the Borsetto Handbag Collection

Equestrian-inspired bag designs, accessories, and apparel have seen a surge in popularity in the world of luxury fashion, and Gucci's Borsetto handbag collection is not an anomaly. This new line combines the Italian words for bag and horsebit into a single name, reflecting the design’s integration of the brand’s equestrian-inspired hardware with a relaxed, contemporary silhouette.

Gucci's Borsetto handbag collection features medium and large bags characterized by an elongated handle and a detachable strap for multiple carrying options. The signature Horsebit motif, which adorns each silhouette, serves as the central visual element.

Available in dark brown suede, soft black leather, and sand and dark brown GG Monogram canvas, the equestrian-inspired bag draws on symbolism that first appeared in Gucci collections from the late 1940s. As such, the capsule reinterprets heritage through a shape intended to feel both modern and approachable.
