The DURKL x Ortlieb Messenger Backpack comes of the most recent collaborations between the outerwear labels. DURKL is based in Washington where its founder Will Sharp has maintained an independent urbanite vibe, a background that stands in stark contrast to Ortlieb's 25 year-long history in the business.
The Messenger Backpack is as much functional as it is modern. The strips of blue and red cloth are actually waterproof, enabling customers to carry a variety of precious goods. This is an offshoot of the PVC and Cordura materials, rendering the bag as impenetrable to not only water, but also dust. The rolled clasp makes the product all the more appealing as it saves time and effort.
