Casio G-SHOCK Introduces a New Super Mario Bros.™-Themed Timepiece

Casio America, Inc. has presented its newest ‘DW5600SMB-4’ model, which takes design cues from the iconic Super Mario Bros. games. Through a well-chosen design and amusing features, G-SHOCK brings the Super Mario Bros. universe to life to appeal to fans of all ages. The background's blue tint is reminiscent of the overworld levels in the game, while the bezel and dial are colored in a Mario red hue. Gold highlights allude to Mario’s priceless coins.

The legendary Mario character appears when the backlight is turned on, and the famous video game action is reenacted by pairing it with the Koopa Troopa shell that is glass-printed at the bottom of the clock. The watch comes in unique packaging to celebrate the partnership, which has an image of the game's title screen and Mario's catchphrase, "Here we go!"

A full list of features is available on the G-SHOCK website, where the watch will be sold for $150 USD. The G-SHOCK Soho store will also stock the limited edition watch.
