HP is bringing its AMD-powered EliteBook 6 business laptop to the US, updating the previous generation with newer Gorgon Point processors. The 14-inch notebook sits below the EliteBook 8 range and is designed for everyday office work, with optional 5G connectivity for employees who need to stay connected away from Wi-Fi.
One of its standout options is an 800-nit display with an integrated privacy mode, making the screen easier to read in bright environments while limiting visibility from the sides. Businesses can also configure the laptop with up to 64GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, giving them room to tailor the hardware to different workloads.
The EliteBook 6 is also listed in the UK and Eurozone, but US pricing starts at $2,792. Regional pricing varies, so the cost of the same basic setup depends on where businesses are buying. With its optional privacy display and mobile connectivity, HP is adding features that can be useful for employees working both in the office and on the move.
