The BreakFree App will hopefully help people understand just how much time they are spending on their smartphone, and realize that maybe a few minutes could be placed elsewhere.
The app tracks various stats, such as how often you are talking to other people, how often certain apps are opened and even the amount of times the phone was unlocked. It even gives a friendly reminder if it thinks you've overstayed your time on your smartphone, and suggests you take a quick break. In a world where every time you turn around someone is seen looking down at their phone, this is a much welcomed piece of tech that will hopefully help people stop the addiction. However, this could be wishful thinking.
