Sneakers often see a lot of inventive styles, and one of the most popular of late have been zipper installations. Converse has taken a rock-n-roll approach to their classic low cut sneakers by adding a side shoe zipper. The actual shoe laces don’t even tie up, but instead the wearer slips their feet in and zips up the shoe on the inside of the heel.

There are also stylish high heel zipper shoes for women. There’s something about a zipper addition that gives a bit of edge to an otherwise elegant set of heels.
