25 CES 2021 Innovations

These CES 2021 innovations range from balcony bee-keeping boxes to AI-powered yoga mats. Spotlighting everything from sustainable products and smart home innovations to skin health and self care offerings, this year's Consumer Electronics Show was hosted virtually in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Addressing growing consumer desires for convenience at home -- as many are spending more time inside -- some top smart home innovations from the event included the impressive TOTO Wellness Toilet that relies on "cutting-edge sensing technologies, artificial intelligence and IoT to track and analyze mental and physical status."

When it comes to social media and marketing, standouts included LG's choice to replace a human brand representative with a virtual influencer. "Instead of press releases or using a spokesperson, the company created a virtual influencer, who has been making all of the branded announcements. The influencer, named Reah Keem was showcased during a livestreamed keynote, and went into detail about some of LGs upcoming innovations."

Other key moments from the event included futuristic face mask products like the Razer 'Project Hazel' mask that spoke to an ever-changing new normal and the consumer need for more sophisticated face protection products.
