I recently finished a BA Hons English degree and I am now persuing a career as a writer. My passions are fashion, beauty, art, designing and creating jewellery and other mini works of art, The Killers, blogging, make-up artistry, reading and drinking cocktails with friends.
I have worked as a waitress, a website content writer, a pole dance instructor, a model, a make-up artist and a burlesque performer and instructor.
I love to write, whether it be putting pen to paper or fingers to keys, it has always come naturally to me. It all began when I won a Royal Mail letter writing competion- the buzz of having someone enjoy what I had written enough to grant me a trip in a hot air balloon as a prize has yet to wear off.
What is unique that's not in your bio?
I have a lot of tattoos. All black and all on my back.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
Struggling through university whilst dealing with a ton and a half of personal stuff and still managing a high-end 2:2
How do you define cool?
Cool doesn't have to try to be cool.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
Keep your eyes open. Hit the high street- not for the shops- for the people.
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
It's like a candy store of inspiration.
What is your favorite trend?
Oh that changes from day to day. At the moment, jewellery made out of unlikely things- like sweets and old clock hands and trinkets found in the bottom of old suitcases.
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
Write what you are passionate about. And research. Lots of research.
How do you reset to be creative?
Sleep on it, take a long drive, just take a break or move on to something else for a while. Writing lists and plans helps also. If that doesn't work, cry and eat some cake.
What inspires or excites you?
I find inspiration in others. People with drive, ambition and a bit of personality and orginality about them. New projects excite me. So does Brandon Flowers.
Predict something awesome for 2020?
My latest book.
