MAC Cosmetic Artists Show Off Talents for Cheongsam Exhibition

Body art is always popular. The traditional Chinese dress called the cheongsam was the inspiration behind a successful body painting exhibition by makeup artists first held in Shanghai to mark the opening of the M.A.C. cosmetic boutique there. The Chinese Dress exhibition has since toured various US locations.

The dress style is form-fitting with seductive slits on the sides of the skirts. The materials used are usually luscious brocades with traditional themes like peonies, lily pads and dragons. These patterns were beautifully portrayed on the various models in body paint form, as you can see above.
