Naughty Photocopies

Vice Magazine and Maggie Lee Literally Copy Models

This has got to be one of my favorite editorials ever. In a stroke of genius, Vice Magazine included the copies taken during the process of the shoot as well as the final images themselves.

These particular photos were taken by Maggie Lee and the shoot was put together by stylist Annette Lamothe-Ramos. Brilliantly creative, and for once, a fashion editorial idea we can all copy.

Implications - Many companies and businesses do not need to look far for innovative ways to appeal to customers. One of the simplest ways to do so is to transform a regularly encountered activity or product into something that suddenly boasts new and exciting characteristics. Businesses will benefit by taking an otherwise mundane product and depicting in an unlikely way because it will present consumers with a fresh perspective.
