Typically, the automobiles in BMW's Art Car Collection are given a makeover by big-name artists, but Robin Rhode decided to involve the BMW Z4 in the art process itself for his creation.
The art performance is called "An Expression of Joy" and required a detailed storyboard for the driver to translate Robin Rhode's vision onto the 100' x 200' canvas using the BMW Z4.
Director Jake Scott captured the 12-hour process on film and adapted it into an ad. The stunning results are in the video above.
