The Knob Light is essentially a door knob with an internal generator that stores energy. This energy is then used to illuminate at night, making it the perfect night light.
I like the idea of utilizing kinetic energy that would otherwise go to waste (opening and closing doors), but I have reservations about the fragility of the design and how comfortable it would feel in a hand grip. But this could be solved with a good choice of material for the ‘bulb.'
