Vivienne Westwood Honored by US Fragrance Foundation

Everybody brings out their own fragrances these days, from pop stars to designers.

British renaissance woman Vivienne Westwood was recently rewarded for her contribution to the perfume industry by the US Fragrance Foundation at a celebration at Claridge’s in London on November 19th.

In 2000, Westwood brought out her first perfume, ‘Boudoir.’ The fragrance was aptly named after a place to undress--a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact that Westwood had previously announced that she wasn’t into wearing undergarments.

Eight years later, her perfumes are saluted by the US Fragrance Foundation with an award meant to acknowledge extraordinary people in the fragrance industry.
