To promote their new Lime flavor, Bud Light had a stuntman dress up in a lime costume, then perform public tricks on a skateboard.
The randomness of these two video adverts for Bud Light Lime is just brilliant. I particularly like the home made style one, a concept which is not as cheap as you would think... and it doesn't always work. The conformation of the lime, for want of a better description, also means these are the results of a very complex direction and production process.
There is also the whole issue of getting people to relate to a character that is half lime and half human, and in this case is called "Limey".
The agency for Bud Light Lime pulled the video spot, however, the bizarre sight of a skateboarding lime really cheered me up.
Extending the concept, there is even a film about "Limey," the star of the adverts.
