Stacked Furniture as Art

The Possible Plateform Table

This ultra-modern collection of tables and desks were created by designer Robert Stadler. The pieces are titled “Possible Plateform”, “Possible Meridienn” and “Possible Low-Table”.

The furniture looks as if giant smooth flat river rocks have been strategically stacked on top of each other. However, Stadler actually builds the sleek furniture from upholstered and lacquered boards. I think it would be fun if the boards could swivel around to create new shapes.

Robert Stadler was born in Vienna and now lives and works in both Paris and Rio de Janeiro.
