In the future, you won't have to worry that someone else will take your black suitcase. Sure they will all still look a like, but if the idea behind Trace Me Luggage takes off, each one would be tagged with its own unique bar code.
Each Immobilise tag has a barcode and serial number containing the contact information.
"Once you've been identified, a text message is sent to your mobile phone letting you know that your bag has been located and what you should do next," OhGizmo says.
"The tags run about $24 each, which is a one-time fee. So once they're bought and registered on the website, they're good for as long as the tags (or the company) last."
Currently it's only in the US, but this could come in handy globally.
