Dickens Shop Houses Hip Japanese Shoes

Old Curiosity Shop

What the Dickens? If that's what you said when you entered the Old Curiosity Shop in London, you probably wouldn't be the first.

From the exterior, the Old Curiosity Shop is a gorgeously crafted 16th century piece of architecture. Legend has it, the 1567 building was actually the source of inspiration for Charles Dickens' famous novel about Little Nell who lived with her grandfather in the peculiar store.

A step inside reveals, at first glance, that the interior has nothing to do with Victorian times, and everything to do with funky, Japanese fashion.

The apparel displayed was all hand crafted by talented designer, Daita Kimura who creates fashion for both men and women. The young cobbler's collection includes everything from shoes to T-shirts and accessories.
