Remote Controll Pill

Philips ePill Delivers Drugs Precisely on Demand

Pharmacists and doctors want drugs to be released at a certain level and prefer the dosage to be controlled at that level. To take the effort out for pill-poppers, a remote-control pill could accomplish this goal, and the e-Pill from Philips seems to be the answer. The pill will carry the drug to where it can do the most good and then be released by remote control. The drug can also be programmed to be released based on a person's blood pressure level.

Implications - This new ePill will be able to be tracked using ultrasound technology or an MRI machine. The idea is great for people in hospitals, but unfortunately most people would not be able to track a pill inside their bodies from home.
