Zofia Bogusz Illustrates Women and Locales with Tropical Flair

I have never wanted to pack up my things, hop on an airplane and travel to the tropics as much as I have while staring at these Zofia Bogusz illustrations. The colors and the beauty of the women featured in these images are the very definition of paradise and it says a lot about the New York-based artist's talent to evoke such a response from me.

Though I appreciate the scantily clad ladies and the scenic locales of these Zofia Bogusz paintings, I think what truly stands out in her images are the surreal elements she injects into her compositions. Juxtaposing creatures such as bunny rabbits and hummingbirds with environments they aren't indigenous to, Bogusz's paintings take on a dreamlike quality, further enhancing the escapism-inducing quality of her pieces.
