This revolutionary new machine doesn't use water or detergents, and is the brainchild of two young students from the National University of Singapore. The washing machine uses negative ions, compressed air and deodorant to get the job done. The design was inspired by waterfalls, which happen to be nature's own negative ion factory. The student designers hope that the machine will be able to benefit countries without easily accessible water. This machine won the ElectroLux Design Lab Award, beating 3,000 other students from over 88 countries.
