Youtube videos go viral everyday and Youtube stars have been known to skyrocket into fame, so it is only natural that people would want to view them on the big screen, and the Upload Cinema campaign shows them how that can happen. Promoting a unique experience, Upload Cinema curates the best Internet videos the web has to offer. They compile 90 minutes of footage linked to a specific theme every two months, screening it in theaters and other special locations.
Created by Lola, an ad agency based in Madrid, Spain, the Upload Cinema campaign recreates iconic Youtube videos such as the Talking Twin Babies and David After Dentist. The Upload Cinema campaign was art directed by Gilberto Barros with creative direction by Sito Morillo, Nacho Oñate and Nestor Garcia.
