The Maitres Du Temps Chapter One

— July 23, 2008 — Fashion
Here is a watch priced at $400,000. It's called the Chapter One, made by Maitres du Temps.

It has tourbillion, a mono-pusher chronograph, retrograde date and Greenwich Mean Time. It also has a couple of idiosyncratic rolling bars for the day of the week and the phase of the moon.

There. Feel better about the $400,000 price tag. No? Neither do I.

It's really pretty, and I bet master watchmakers Christophe Claret, Peter Speake-Marin and Roger Dubuis are very proud. Me? Meh. Sundial is close enough for what I need.
