'Taxi Fabric' is an urban art project that revamps Indian taxi interiors with psychedelic graphics. From intricate ceiling murals to graphic seat upholstery, these examples are created by local Mumbai artists who are all brought together by their love of creative expression.

Aiming to elevate the everyday commute of Mumbai residents, this art project brings together talented creatives who use car interiors as their canvas. "Taxis in India are the most convenient form of transportation, and in some way become an iconic piece of culture," says lifestyle magazine Buro 247 about the project.

Taxi Fabric makes any commute a more memorable and sensory experience while highlighting the impressive work of local painters, textile makers and graphic designers with an appreciation for color and fantasy -- synonymous with Mumbai's creative spirit and cultural traditions.
