If you ask me, the Sonic Lounger for Taiz Design looks a little gruesome, more torture than pleasure-centric, but the designers say the benefits it offers are definitely interesting.
The apparatus uses a tactile sound system, the idea being that the contraption entrains brainwave states. These states include beta, alpha, theta and delta states, which in turn produce serotonin, dopamine and neuropeptides.
In addition to these elevated pleasurable states, the crystal clear vibration conducts hi-fi music into skin, bones, and tissues in a harmonic and rhythmic manner.
If that’s not enough for you to justify the $9,000 price tag, perhaps the flax seed pillows and memory foam mattress are.
