German University Students Create Stunning Solar-Powered Home
Students at Germany’s Technische Universitat Darmstadt took home the top prize at the Solar Decathlon competition for their design of this home. The home is covered in solar panels that look a bit like large black tiles. The solar-powered home is unusually attractive for incorporating so much clean energy.
The students at Technische Universitat Darmstadt have shown that eco-friendly does not have to be ugly. Solar-powered homes present a feasibly pretty future.
