KLINE sketchbook design is the creation of two frustrated artists, who have exhausted their options to find he most ideal sketchbook. They recognized the hassle of having to carry around multiple sketchbooks in order to have all kinds of paper handy and created this design.
"Creative work is taking an idea and adding layers; built through conversations, testing, reworking, changing context, and adding insight, layers are crucial to a successful idea," explain the two designers on the importance of process in creative work.
KLINE features vellum, stock and watercolor paper layered into a single hardbound cotton cover. This layering is precisely what allows the free flow and adaptability of the creative progress.
KLINE sketchbook is currently being funded on Kickstarter to go into production.
