For Fall 2009 Gucci wonder woman Frida Gianni showed several fitted skinny leg suits in her ready-to-wear collection. Gianni’s line was heavy on the dark colors, but did feature many 80’s style graphic pop pieces to add fashion flair. Gucci’s ready-to-wear collection for Fall 2009 was definitely aimed at a younger, more fashion forward and glamorous crowd.  Frida Giannini's populist approach to Gucci has the ability to divide opinion between girls all over the world who see nothing wrong with buying into her accessible channeling of trends, and critics who wish for something more directional at this level of luxe.
