Things can get tough for a lonely soldier in the Chinese Army. One misses home, Ma’s cooking, and… other things. But in China, even the pin-ups take a strong patriotic stance.
As these images show, its fine to think about the girl of your dreams--just make sure she’s doing her compulsory military service, reading her red book and has no fear of spiders or frogs. I’m not sure if that’s a hot air balloon or a lantern in the one painting, but I guess your dream girls should be proficient with those as well.
