This is a new perspective on jewellery by Kyeok Kim. The philosophy of her design is to translate human emotions into patterns of light projected onto the skin. The concept helps to create sensory connections with those around you. In some ways, that makes “Aurora” jewelry like a second skin.

‘Aurora’ creates patterns of light on the body as ornamentation, extending the ornamented space around the body and restyling its decorative silhouette by motion. ‘Aurora’ highlights the relationship between different pieces of jewellery, by its nature the pieces interact with the another. To operate the decorative light, one must gently move the ring (containing a magnet) towards the main jewellery piece (yankodesign)

A few months ago I have designed a pret-a-porter collection for my BA degree in art/fashion design on Byzantine and I felt the need of bringing different jewllery and so I did I brought out lights leaving the old form of jewellery behind...I am so glad that I wasn't the only one to feel this need; it means that people are ready for this new step...Congrats! My kind of Byzance is "Byzance apres Byzance"...Jewellery after the jewellery...
