As minimalist as the Sen Series may be, the pieces are incredibly stylish and bold. Not made for the boring individual who likes things just so, the Sen Series is comprised of furniture that makes a vibrant statement.

Designed by Japanese designer Shinn Asano, the Sen Series appears to be inspired by line art. By taking the two-dimensional markings and turning them into three-dimensional products, he has managed to create items that are graphically visually striking.

The Sen Series features six separate furniture pieces greatly influenced by the Japanese culture. For instance, the Amihajime Table channels bamboo basket making, the Kagome Stool is inspired by the kagome moyou craft and the Nobolu Hanger Stand has been modeled after the hieroglyphic characters of "kanji." The three remaining designs are just as steeped in tradition. Stats for Wiry Red Furniture Trending: Older & Buzzing
