‘Superhero Worship' by Adriana Gerasimova

When I saw ‘Superhero Worship,’ an editorial by Adriana Gerasimova for Maximum Magazine, my eyes widened in awe. The remarkable images are sharp, aggressive and have a brilliant ‘Kill Bill’ feel about them.

Sword-handling model Anika is fiercely styled—covered entirely in black and white body-hugging materials, and accessorized with spiked-heel boots, oversized sunglasses and futuristic belts. Her blood-red lips and the splattered teal paint on the walls add bold color to these ultramodern photographs.
