Rudd Van Ampel is brilliant at combining old and new techniques into one as demonstrated in his new series. The Dutch artist needs little introduction as he is well known as the leading figure in modern photo art. By combining computer technology with photography, he intends to create a continuing and open dialogue about the state of society today.

The artwork includes photos of children posing amid a background of a bright and computer-altered landscape. It is fascinating to see the use of children to portray a sense of innocence and virtue, contrasted with their very stark and stern poses. The final layer of juxtaposition is seen in the chosen backgrounds, which are both whimsical and completely ordinary at the same time.

For those interested, Rudd Van Ampel and his engaging art series can be seen at the Flatland Gallery in the Netherlands. Stats for Captivating Youthful Photography Trending: Older & Popular
