The Glide toaster by George Watson was designed to celebrate the ritual of breakfast, to provide an engaging spectacle of domestic focus. The toaster which is made of porcelain is slip molded into an intricate and sculptural form. The actual method by which the bread is toasted is pretty unique and intriguing. There is a loop through which you pass the bread, which comes out toasted. An experiment in designer toasting I say.
