Nooka’s new fragrance smells like watches. That’s right; the trendy company noted for hip, fun timepieces has taken the dive into the perfume category with this conceptual scent. They have hired professional fragrance developers and expert ‘noses’ to come up with Nooka. The scent is an innovative blend of Japanese Yuzu sprinkled with pink pepper, leather, electricity, and minerals such as polished steel. I didn’t read anything about whether the fragrance is meant for men or women, so I gather it will be suitable for either sex.  The point, Waldman notes, is a “glam future”—to hark back to the 1960s and 1970s. “Futurism used to optimistic, not terrifying, like in Independence Day,” he says. “I aspired to a chrome-coated future.”
