Tech To Let Anyone Sing Like a Pro - Microsoft's MySong (VIDEO)

Microsoft Research is developing a technology and software prototype called MySong that will have a huge impact on how amateurs, hobbyists and even starting musicians write music.

Basically, the software records your singing through a microphone, and it automatically and systematically generates an instrumental accompaniment for your song with quality that is comparable to a professional. With a simple slide of your mouse you can change the arrangement into happier, sadder, slower, more traditional, etc.

The project has great potential on saving money and time involved in song writing. Plus, we will have better quality YouTube amateur video of you singing your heart out!
