Did superhero blockbusters start a new Men in Tights craze? In the UK retailers are reporting record sales of all kinds of tights for guys. Sheer, patterned and even support tights!

Guys are claiming health benefits such as back support, while others just point to the fashion aspect. Mytights.com reported an almost immediate sellout when introduced online.

Tights for men have all the special differences needed - support panels, front openings and reinforced feet.

It appears this new fashion idea has not caught on in the U.S. - except for the NBA where they passed a rule outlawing them.
