Time is a mysterious force that organizes people's life, which explains why clocks play a fundamental role in society, and designer Marc van der Voorn created the Mist clock to add a more sophisticated and intriguing touch to time.

Instead of focusing only on the design of the numbers, the designer took the glass and added a playful detail: he covered the surface with a grid of dots that gives the piece a misty aspect. He explains, "The dots generate a 3D effect and with the contrast of the background, the numbers seem to float and the end of the hands seem to dissolve." This cool effect doesn't interfere with either the machine's function or its purpose, but it does make it look more appealing and interesting. Stats for Mystifying Timepieces Trending: Older & Chilly
