Dior Launches Kim Jones' Inaugural Beach Essensials for the Season

Dior unveils its first-ever range of luxe beachwear in time for the Summer 2019 season, boasting designs by Kim Jones and captivating the bold design language of his work. There are also some notable pieces in the collection that feature Hajime Sorayama artwork plastered throughout the essentials.

The range features lightweight textiles for the season, laid-back silhouettes -- this includes the new iteration of the signature B23 sneakers and the totes made from convertible nylon. There are two main pieces that feature the signature Sorayama robot across floral fields and ocean spray. Additionally, the range also features a cotton beach towel, silk bandanas, Bermuda shorts, and packable nylon jackets. The selection of bags is ultra-functional as well, featuring elements including zipper pulls and nylon shells.
