DeBeers has a monopoly on diamonds and thus controls the size of diamonds that will be hot from year to year. If they pushed small diamonds last year, next year they will push large diamonds. A Russian company apparently didn’t get the memo. The rings are large and meant to be noticed and one would think hold large stones. But Rifesta makes great use of small diamonds to give each piece a very distinctive and rich look.
